Captain Jack's Pirate Hats

In 2003 when I started Captain Jack's Pirate Hats I firmly believed in making Authentic Handcrafted Pirate Hats geared towards what I would call, the Working Class Pirate. The Seafaring Scallywaggs and Wild Buccaneers, rather than fancy Pirate hats for Dandy Merchants,  Foppish Aristocrats, or Pirate Lord . Quite honestly I couldn't stomach the idea of making hats with feather boa trim or bodies made out of crushed velvet. Simply TOO Yo Ho Hokey for my taste! But I did continue to get many requests for something fancier, and so I started Custom hand painted gold leaf trims, and offering a number of ostrich and pheasant feathers. Always striving to please my customers I eventually started doing cloth trims. Today, Captain Jack's Trim offerings are  some of the most varied anywhere.
